  Ostrava Fort BookYard

Ostrava and its history – that is the topic of this fun competition game for the whole family during which the library will be transformed into a mysterious BookYard. Visit it, accomplish various quests and collect clues!

Some of the quests will put your wits and knowledge to the test and during the others you will have to use your dexterity or sharpen your senses. If you are successful and manage to decrypt the password there will be a reward waiting for you at the end. Will that be gold treasure? Come and see. One final piece of advice: Don’t be afraid!

  Guided tours of the exhibition

Guided tours of underground storage of journals and books. Meeting point is near the cloakroom, and the tour takes about 30 minutes.

During the whole event it will be possible to register in the library and to borrow, and return books. We will also search for and lend the books from the repository at Prokeš’s Square (below the town hall’s right wing).
