INDUSTRIAL Gallery is a creative place in the centre of Ostrava and there’s always something going on. It is focused on presentations of the contemporary art not only by young authors but also by well-know artists and designers from Czech Republic and abroad. It offers up-to-date events of the current art to the local public. As part of its gallery programme INDUSTRIAL Gallery offers lectures from the history of art, craft courses, workshops and author reading. Art shop with original art works is a part of the gallery.

INDUSTRIAL Cafe has prepared a special offer for you just for the Ostrava Museum Night. In the First Czechoslovak Republic interior you are invited to taste delicious coffee, fair homemade cakes and desserts or other snacks. We’d love to invite you to a romantic garden under a linden tree, which is placed inside of the object.

    Výstava je intimní zpovědí o lásce, tajemství a kořenech jednoho lidského osudu, který má obecnou platnost.

    Lecture “Famous Villas of Ostrava”
    A lecture by a popular lecturer Daniel Michalík about selected villas of Ostrava, which represent individual architectural styles from the end of the 19th century up to the latter half of the 20th century. We are going to examine exteriors as well as interiors of these villas and you will get to know something about the period and the atmosphere, in which they were constructed. Some attention will be given to the personalities of the architects and the villa’s owners. Booking ahead at www.ostravskamuzejninoc.cz is obligatory.

    Let’s support a good cause! In cooperation with the artists that exhibited in our gallery we prepared a unique series of hand-painted bags. The original is only one. The sale proceeds will be used for philanthropy uses. Where specifically the money will go you can help us decide if you vote.On the day of the Ostrava Museum Night the visitors have the chance to buy original canvas bags and notepads from a limited INDUSTRIAL collection for unique prices.
